PinMap Terms of Service Effective Date: June 2026

Welcome to PinMap! These Terms of Service explain the rules for using our app and services. By downloading or using PinMap, you're agreeing to these terms — so please take a moment to read through them.

1. Eligibility You need to be at least 18 years old to use PinMap on your own. If you're younger, a parent or guardian will need to give their consent.

2. What PinMap Does PinMap is a platform that collects, analyzes, and displays road and transportation information gathered during everyday travel — helping communities build a clearer picture of road conditions.

3. Beta Service PinMap is currently in beta, which means we're still refining things. Some features may change, and occasionally results may not be perfect. We appreciate your patience as we improve!

4. Your Responsibilities Please use PinMap safely and responsibly. Never interact with the app while driving — your safety (and everyone else's) comes first.

5. Your Data You own the content you submit. By using PinMap, you give us permission to use, analyze, and display the data generated through the app to improve and run the service. We won't sell your personal data.

6. Intellectual Property Everything that makes PinMap, PinMap — the app, software, design, logos, and trademarks — belongs to us.

7. No Warranties PinMap is provided as-is. We do our best, but we can't guarantee the service will always be error-free or uninterrupted.

8. Limitation of Liability PinMap is not responsible for any indirect or consequential damages that arise from using the service.

9. Termination We reserve the right to suspend or remove access to PinMap at any time if these terms are violated.

10. Governing Law These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. If you are located in Maryland, Virginia, or New York, the following state-specific terms apply:

  • Maryland: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Maryland.

  • Virginia: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Virginia.

  • New York: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in New York.

For users outside these states, disputes will be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia as the default jurisdiction.
